Louisiana Tech's cross country teams wrapped up the 2016 Conference USA Championships this weekend with the men finishing seventh overall and women coming in 12th at Frank Liske Park in Charlotte.

Lila Rice took first place at the WAC Cross Country Championships, and was named WAC Cross Country Athlete of the Year and First Team All-WAC. The women finished in second place and the men finished in third place.

Louisiana Tech’s cross country teams are set to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, where the Bulldogs and Lady Techsters will compete in the 2016 Conference USA Championships, which will be hosted by Charlotte Saturday morning at Frank Liske Park.

Saturday, the Seattle U cross country team will compete in the WAC Championship at the Jefferson Park Golf Course
